Which team failed to produce a single ATG player in last 30 years?

Yeah no, it's not as important. Sorry and no offence to Saffas, but that's how it is.

The Ashes is everything to English cricket. We could lose to everyone else, be ranked 10, never win an ODI or T20 and allow Burgey to live in the country. But if we held the urn, that would outweigh the rest.
So much wrong with this post.

You didn't get my point. I wasn't talking about English cricket in particular, but test cricket in general. There are equally (and sometimes more) important contests around the world.
I got your point. But you used England in your example. So you were categorically wrong. Thanks.

Well no, it's more about what's important to England than how important England is

Re England I reckon their best 'home grown/produced' ODI player would be Nick Knight - I really rated him. I assume that Trott and KP aren't being considered.

Oh c'mon, now this is trolling putting Nick Knight ahead of Flintoff.

Mind you if it's just to annoy Gimp, I guess I could accept it. Oh and KP gets nowhere near Flintoff either.

I guess Fuller Pitch was talking about batsmen only.

And, Pietersen was a very good ODI batsman. He's definitely somewhere near Flintoff as a ODI player, although Flintoff is better.

He spent about 6 years being hopeless after an incredible start. Not sure you can call anyone that does that a very good ODI bat.
