You're a Manchester United fan. You don't get to talk about shots, even if you are having a troll. You're the luckiest side of all time when it comes to never shooting but getting loads of points. They're like my son's rep cricket team who think you get points for holding a pretty pose after you nudge one back along the pitch for a dot.
You don't get anything for being pretty mate. They dominated that game and frankly ****ed around with it in the front third.
****ing is.Okay, despite many posts of mine to the contrary, sometimes football isn't ****
Sanchez??Arsenal with a world class forward win that game by 2.
As I said in that convo; I don't consider him a forward, or at least one that leads a line. He's more or of an auxiliary forward in the front line. They need a player who is more at the end of plays than one that starts them. Once they have that, with what they already have, and they'd genuinely challenge IMO.Sanchez??
Well, when you're in a crowded penalty area there's a high chance your shot is just going to get blocked if you pull the trigger ASAP. Overall Arsenal shot a lot, twice as much as United and more than enough to score more than once. How much they shot wasn't an issue at all. They haven't been getting that many points for the last couple of years mate, tbf.
I'm not having a troll btw. I support United but I'm hardly fanatical or one eyed about it. I'm more than happy to give credit to other sides and barely give a **** if they get beat.
It just stood out like dogs balls to me watching that game.
Anyway, if you're happy watching your mob string together 10-15 passes in the penalty area before losing the ball because they cbf shooting, then you should be entertained.
It is annoying, but it's just a ****ty part of football you have to put up with. It's a results game. Rooney saying how their tactics worked when they should have been murdered. The result was just **** on the stick. Though I think the reaction probably annoys me just as much. People essentially just completely change their narrative because of a freak own goal.
Sadly people are taking an all too simplistic view when it comes to evaluating the game plan by Wenger and the performance of certain players. I get it, that's football, you suck it up and move on. But you do that rather than have a huge postmortem about it.It is annoying, but it's just a ****ty part of football you have to put up with. It's a results game. Rooney saying how their tactics worked when they should have been murdered.
Nor that I'm sore about it at all , but the entire Warrington-Exeter match prime example of this, they started well got a soft goal, then just held on with some incredible luck, poor finishing from us, unpunished thuggish defending and a terrible pitch, but the story will always be about the great Cup upset. It's football.
Score more goals than the oppo, it really is that simple.
