It is annoying, but it's just a ****ty part of football you have to put up with. It's a results game. Rooney saying how their tactics worked when they should have been murdered.

Nor that I'm sore about it at all , but the entire Warrington-Exeter match prime example of this, they started well got a soft goal, then just held on with some incredible luck, poor finishing from us, unpunished thuggish defending and a terrible pitch, but the story will always be about the great Cup upset. It's football.

Score more goals than the oppo, it really is that simple.
Yep, and it could so easily have happened to us yesterday. Totally dominated Fulham for 60 minutes, gave them a goal, it should have been one of those games.

Then we won 2-1 in the last minute.....again. We are so ****ing great.

I must be getting insufferable tbh.

Yeah, Fellaini was always going to be good against Arsenal. I still wouldn't want him in my side though.
I think he was so good today because our distribution was terrible, and we ended up having to make a lot of use of his aerial ability.

He has such an unusual set of skills and positional sense. Can be hopeless or pretty effective, depending on how he's used. He wouldn't be in anyone's dream team but this season he's had a really positive impact since coming into the side.

That performance can only be pulled off vs Arsenal.

Would have gotten smashed by a more ruthless and efficient team.

Blimey, I'm really beginning to believe Saints are going to get in the Champions League, look at the other teams challenging:unsure:

Southampton could realistically finish 3rd, as everyone else who we expected to finish above them have been pretty rubbish. I mean, it's already at the stage where I'm starting to want them to lose almost as much as I do the rest of the big teams.

I'd still be very surprised if they came top four, let alone third.

I don't really want Spurs to actually lose as it may take away the general attention from Liverpool being hilarious, because Tottenham are pretty hilarious themselves.
