Commentators were just talking about it, apparently he wants to find a middle ground between attack and defense.
Southee believes in less? :p

I thought he'd go 'all the way'. Made him a man of success. Made him a man of today.

If he goes 'all the way', I don't see him lasting long, that being said he probably won't last much longer either defending. So attacking probably is the best way for him to go.

Rahat Ali has outbowled Boult and Southee easily on these wickets.

I wish we had bowlers who could be as effective as him with reverse :(

Boult will only feature in the first 15 overs of a ball. Southee I was surprised didn't perform better.

Are you talking about specifically here or just in general?
In general, he's kind of what Southee was about four or five years ago - heavily reliant on the new ball and conventional swing as a weapon, doesn't really have movement off the seam, doesn't have natural variation and if the ball isn't swinging, you see him go for runs without wickets.

lol, WW your signature is pretty funny.
Just a little fun my friend :D

Anyway as for this game..first session certainly Pakistan's...the kiwis are gonna have to rebuild here and certainly cannot afford to get anything under 400 because the way that Pakistan have been batting lately you'd back them to at least get close to that without doubt and then the pressure would be all on NZ on a wearing track.

Sarfraz making me nervous about the money I've bet in this match. Almost literally, not figuratively, unbeleivable.

It's really getting to the point where Watling batting below Anderson and Neesham is starting to look ridiculous, not just strange.
