**Official** Pakistan v New Zealand in the UAE 2014

Given that you can never rule out Southee and Boult triggering a big collapse, I think $6.50 on the New Zealand win is actually a bit generous. Still won't be putting money on it though.

Problem with Bj and the neesh is that there will be at least one road where someone up top makes a big hundred.

Man, Watling at $11.00 when an NZ top-order lol-apse isn't exactly off the cards. Value.

Its an interesting series no doubt. New Zealand have been impressive this year after their embarrassing tour to minnows Bangladesh same time last year. I was really impressed with them on their tour to the Caribbean especially the performance by Kane Williamson. The young guy looked full of class!!! and will be the key whether New Zealand thrives or not. Their spin options look bleak. Pakistan on the other hand should be full of confidence after their dominating test series win over Australia.

Its $11 for most runs scored in the series. Its still good value, but not as good value as say $6 for highest run scorer in a match.

I don't know why the Bangladesh tour is supposed to be embarrassing. 2 high scoring draws on complete roads.

Because we're the first major nation to not get a victory against them in a series, I believe, also losing 4-0 in the subsequent ODI series.

I think we'll do OK - I still think we're relying too heavily on the new ball for any penetration and will be offering up far too many easy runs to players like Younis, Azhar and Misbah but I also think we'll cope better with their spinners than Australia did. It's going to be a real struggle for us to take 20 Wickets in a match if we play both Craig and Sodhi though.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I've been trying to speculate and predict how we'll go but really, may as well pick results from a hat. The only outcome I'm confident of not happening is us dominating and winning 3-0.

Yeah, I guess Hesson figures there's more need for 2 spinners with Williamson gone and two all rounders in the side. But lets be honest, Kane was never anything more than a holding bowler and occasional partnership breaker - picking two specialist spinners in his absence is overkill. What's more, Neesh is a true buffet bowler at this level and Anderson isn't much better.

Why can't we have both?

He made some crucial breakthroughs with good bowling. The West Indies didn't send the most inspiring team in the world but Anderson bowled well imo.
