I'm picking underrated cricketers first. Both Grimmett and Roberts should've been there in the list IMO.

The reason for choosing Boycott is slightly different. Barry and Greenidge are gone (not that I rate Greenidge higher than Boycott, but he complements a defensive opener better); and the 4 top-class openers are really costly for my liking. So, I wanted to pick clearly the best opener among the remaining just to save my ass in case I don't get one of the 4 later (actually 3, with Hutton gone).
