Nah, odds on we are for in for a definite rooting.
Just not really sure what the team has Been doing between the 200 odd days of test cricket. The prep Was clearly hopeless.

If by exercised you mean worked up, it's rubbish. Don't try and pretend you've turned the corner as a cricketing nation under a brave new leader when you get down 1-0 in a series, make two suspect changes then get to 80-1 and stick a bloody man behind the bowlers arm.
Granted I didn't see the previous 26 overs but he wasn't there as a catcher was he? He was there under an approach of 'okay, we've got little or no idea how to get you out, so we'll stick a man in your line of sight and see if that'll harm you watching the ball'
Never mind setting better fields, building pressure, picking someone in your squad that is actually capable of doing that.
Australia have a stated aim of being #1 in the world. I'm sure there are more sustainable ways of becoming that side than adopting a tactic that is an equivalent of sneezing in someone's backswing on the 18th hole

I mean, generally speaking, if a fielder is positioned somewhere that's because the batsman is hitting (or might hit) the ball in that direction and the captain wants to stop him getting a run from it. Just a thought.
This is, quite seriously, one of the most trivial complaints I have seen in a cricketing context in a long while.
