Yes they've been terribly represented, yes the WICB is a joke but this will literally destroy the very brand that has given them the platform to earn ££££s. As a true West Indies fan I feel incredibly let down and fear for our future.

Why would they do that? Most of those blokes (ie) Bravo, Gayle, Sammy are big draws in India. The thing is, I don't think those players are the least bit indispensable for your team. They should just be dropped in favour of any youngster who actually cares about playing for the West Indies. That's the only way forward imo.

...Tino Best came out on radio on tuesday and said the new structure the board have set up to professionalise our cricket helps ALL players around the region and he backs it!!..that's the sort of attitude i like to hear, not these selfish prats who don't really care about WI anyway..summed up by Dwayne Bravo's crazy comments a couple of years ago about "Trinidad first, ipl team second and WI last"!!..P#SS OFF!!..lets see how you deal with being out of the international picture now you clown .

Will be interesting to find out if most of the WIPA membership agree with Tino. After all they are presumably more in number than those in the WI squad. Very sad situation that matches have to be cancelled in the middle of a tour. You'd think if India generates 80% of the games revenues, BCCI might be able to temporarily step in and pay the difference to the players for the rest of the tour so they actually have someone to play against. The amount would be miniscule compared to the TV rights, ticketing income they themselves might be risking.

They've already scheduled replacement ODIs against Sri Lanka. They could well make more money out of that tbh.

On the topic of the match.. I think we've all been critical of how late Pollard comes in at times at both international and franchise level, but sending him at #3 in an ODI is even more ridiculous than that. Two games in a row now.
