Good catch that from Brooks. Should be easy from here.

Jack Shantry with an epic knock to keep Worcestershire in the game. Could be enough to give them a squeak of a win too.

That's a ****ing **** move from Bairstow. Not really any different running out Bell for walking off like it's tea. Samit left it, waited five seconds, then moved when he thought the ball was dead. Not cricket.

Almost unbelievable but the season started today - the Champion County game in Dubai, Durham currently 30/1. Seems to get earlier each year.

My tips for this year

County Championship - Warwickshire
Relegated - Northants, Yorkshire
Promoted - Surrey, Essex

Royal London One Day Cup - Somerset
Natwest T20 Blast - Hampshire

Just noticed Warwickshire are officially known in the T20 as Birmingham Bears...

Fixtures
Feel the need to ask, are you tasting now?

Well done Yorkshi*e, best CC team by a mile this season. Hopefully Durham won't have five of their best seamers unavailable for most of next season and give them some proper competition.

At moments like these, we need to be extra thankful that Liverpool didn't win the Premier League. I miss the 2011 season.

Surprised Lancashire haven't pushed harder before lunch. If they only draw they basically need a miracle to stay up, they're not particularly likely to get a big bonus points haul even if they do win their final game and that still means they'd be relying on Middlesex losing badly in their two remaining games (assuming Durham beat them).

WORCESTERSHIREEEEEE! Unbelievable, a serious effort from the lads. Looking forward to Division One next year already.

Tips

CC - Yorkshire
Relegated - Northants and Lancashire
Promoted - Surrey and Hampshire
Wooden spoon - Gloucestershire

RLODC - Surrey
T20 - Somerset

Think Yorkshire will win the title as they will have Bairstow all season and Bresnan for most of it so will be much stronger.
Not a bad tipster.

Jeets on 99 wickets in all comps.

55 @ 26.12 in CC

25 @ 12.96 with an econ of 6.11 in the T20

19 @ 19.26 with an econ of 4.57 in the 50 over stuff

What a year, what a player, what a beard.

Also 465 runs in CC @ 29 including a ton. Got to be in the running for PCA player of the year?

Gee, is it not a bit awkward Worcestershire getting promoted when Ajmal took 63 wickets for them.
Well, it just means they can be next year's Northants. No Ajmal, little of Moeen. Shantry and Mitchell will have a lot of wickets and runs to get.
