So England only score against spin at a rate of 0.11 and 0.1 per over worse than India and Australia respectively, while scoring at a rate of 0.11 and 0.21 better than SA and SL each. The issue is we get out to them a lot more, hence our average being third worse amongst the top 10.

Not worried about Root in ODI's tbh. People forget for the first year of his international career he was much better in the shorter formats for England. Just had a blip. Still think he's best as a finisher though.

Part of Kohli's problem seems to be his ability to not rotate strike, his main usp was not playing out dot balls and this whole tour he hasn't rotated the strike enough.

Run rate is low, and if gifting your wicket away doesn't count as struggling England have been fine against India all series.

The run rate is invariably going to be slow early on when the ball is swinging a bit. And lol sure if you want to believe that.
