Well we got ourselves a striker today, Betinho on loan from Sporting Lisbon. Obviously never heard of him but that does not make it any the less exciting.

My point is that Wenger and the scouting network should be able to find someone better than Giroud not that I have anyone in particular in mind
The thing is now he is injured they need someone better than Sanogo, that shouldn't be too hard.

and they should definitely be able to find someone better than Sanogo, I am pretty sure Brentford could do that tbh.

Anyway looks like Welbeck is happening which is certainly not the worst thing they could have done.

Could end up being their Sturridge. Has the tools, once he puts it together he could be excellent for them.

Still think in time Sanogo will make you all look daft. He's young, is a real 'physical specimen' and has already had some good games against serious opposition where he's made us look a far better side. He's shown himself to be a goal scorer at lower levels and so I think it will come. Get Giroud back in January and loan him out for the second half of the season.

It doesn't include penalties (not trying to reopen the debate, but the people who make these are set on them not counting) and it helps to be a sub in these things, but it's still interesting.

On Sanago; I find it really hard to not really like him. He's way to raw to be playing premier league for a club like Arsenal, but I think he'd do well at most average premier league sides. I'll always remember the day he came out of nowhere and made Bayern Munich **** themselves for half an hour in the Champions League. Reckon he'd tear **** up in the lower levels tbh.

Gives us another player with absolute gas in the front line which should in theory only help the likes of Özil and Ramsey even more. Now we just need to ditch the god awful 4-1-4-1 we've played recently.

Still need a CB though and a DM upgrade would be nice but basically impossible at this hour.

So what do the gooners thing of the Wellbeck signing?

Have always rated him for England but not so much Man U. Will Arse have him leading the line? I mean obviously he can play wide but really don't see him being a first choice there, especially once Theo returns. Could do a job there in Europe though.

As long as they don't play him wide it's a really good signing for Arsenal. And a total balls-up from Van Gaal to let him go.

Getting rid of 24 year old English youth product to finance a year for 29 year old Falcao. Wonder what Fergie thinks?

Yeah, what happened to not letting him go to a top four side as well? Was that just twitter talk?

Micah Richards to Fiorentina. Good to see another English player moving abroad. Also means he can fawn over Koscielny without annoying anyone.

Maybe they watched the first three games of the season and realised we aren't as good as Everton.

That smiley is me kidding myself and pretending I'm joking btw.

Tbf if there's one criticism you can level at old whiskey breath (aside from being a sour, bullying, whining, haggis-eating ****) it would be the lack of succession planning that seemed to accompany his final years

though maybe it just seems that way because the young talent at United isn't up to scratch when compared with the couple of decades before

Ohh FFS stop with the penalty debate is anyone going to change their ****ing minds.

anyway Tom Cleverly looks like he's staying at Man U, because his agent wants nice big wages. Good for him, and good for England as that will mean he'll be ignore in Man U's reserves.

Yeah I don't dislike him he just does not look like he has control of his legs. He is obviously better than a league one striker but I have seen his type so many times before.
