Heh, the new Viru.Lolhi.
I agree, Given he could be a useful lower order biffer who may come off on the odd occasion that is a bonus but really we should pick him on his bowling. Same for Woakes and Jordan as their batting won't be great all the time and is an added extra.Stokes bowls well in Oz (on a small sample basis) he has to be in consideration for the World Cup. As I often say with him, forget his batting, he should be picked as a bowler, or not at all.
I think, after the run of low scores he looks incredibly nervous with the bat, if we just stuck him well down the order this may free him. Wonder where he'll bat today, I'd definitely have Woakes ahead of him, possibly Jordan too.I agree, Given he could be a useful lower order biffer who may come off on the odd occasion that is a bonus but really we should pick him on his bowling. Finn too? If he comes back to somewhere near his best.I think, after the run of low scores he looks incredibly nervous with the bat, if we just stuck him well down the order this may free him. Wonder where he'll bat today, I'd definitely have Woakes ahead of him, possibly Jordan too.
You stuck him down the order in the Tests, that worked well.I think, after the run of low scores he looks incredibly nervous with the bat, if we just stuck him well down the order this may free him. Wonder where he'll bat today, I'd definitely have Woakes ahead of him, possibly Jordan too.
I know we disagree on this one, but I just don't rate his batting much. One innings has distorted it, IMHO.You stuck him down the order in the Tests, that worked well.
Should give him more responsibility, not less IMO.
