I sat down to watch this match twice but it was just ****e and had to turn it off

Has to be right up there with the lowest standard series ever

When do we name our squad?? If we're going to name a full strength side I see no reason why we can't win this.

When does Broad have his surgery.......will he play in these one dayers?

I'm guessing the squad will be something like

Cook, Hales, Bell, Ballance, Root, Morgan, Bopara, Ali, Stokes, Buttler, Tredwell, Jordan, Rankin/Finn, Gurney.

Personally I'd like to see Ballance and Moeen playing in the championship though.

Is this the series where it might be worthwhile introducing Willey and Vince into England colours before the World Cup?

1. Hales
2. Cook
3. Ballance
4. Root
5. Morgan
6. Buttler +
7. Bopara
8. Willey
9. Jordan
10. Tredwell
11. Anderson

12. Finn
13. Vince
14. Moeen
15. Gurney/Woakes

He's part of the best team but I expect him and Broad to be rested.
Dunno about that.....all eyes on the WC now, not sure they will be resting players when we've still got to work out our best team.

Not sure when Broad is having his surgery though so he might be out.

Meh, so long as Dernbach is no where near it I don't care too much.

We've got loads of ODI's coming up though. Seven in SL and then a triangular series (I think) in Australia before the tournament. We know both Broad and Anderson are in our best XI, so I don't really see why they have to play any of the first 12 ODI's tbh. Just let them have a break and then bring them back for the tri series so they can get some form and match sharpness.

Edit: Broad will definitely be missing these ODI's and the SL tour btw. Not sure about the series in Australia.

Then again Jimmy may want to keep on top of his bitch Kohli so may want to play.

Liking the look of that, and would be very keen to get Vince and Willey around the squad as soon as possible, and bed them in before the world cup.

Just checked, we play 16 ODI's and four tour matches before the WC. Jimmy missing five here really isn't going to be detrimental to his or our world cup.
