Really would have been nice for England to have had a least one hard fought win in the series. Don't get me wrong the turn around has been great and all and it's nice to be back in wining ways.......just not sure how much we can take from these last 3 tests. From the first session of the last 2 we've been flogging a dead dog and playing with absolutely no pressure at all........credit to our bowlers for getting us into that position but it would have been nice to see how the team responded when it wasn't going all their way.
Did you not watch Southampton?

They played a lot of the cricket in the last three tests. Pretty much all of it bar that collapse at Durham tbh.
I didn't think England would win in Australia but the reasons I was uneasy were a) England's batting was pretty **** in the home series, b) Australia's bowling, fielding and captaincy was excellent and c) the selectio was utterly appalling.

I don't think even Glenn McGrath would have picked 5-0, and that was all down to Johnson's Brisbane effort.

Johnson's spell at Brisbane was what got Australia the whitewash. England were shellshocked by it and never recovered, and after their collapse at Adelaide tbere was never going to any other result than 5-0.
You mean the collapse that Harris triggered and Lyon sunk his teeth into?

Fun stat: if we don't count Ben Stokes (and as he's a Geordie, I think that's a fair enough stance), every England bowler averaged more with the bat than Virat Kohli.

Well Zaremba showed a stat about almost every England player averaging better than Kohli, there was also the stat about him being one of the worst 10 inning series ever.

Yet do we really need stats to prove the self-evident, that Kohli is over-rated crap?

My fellow Indian fans. I hate to interrupt the celebrations but I have bad news.

I was supposed to go to this Lord's test match but in the end couldn't make it. Instead I will be attending day 1 of the 3rd test in Southampton.

I remind you all of my record of attending Indian away cricket matches - 7 losses and 1 draw.

Never attended an Indian win outside of India. I may **** this series up
Should change my custom title to "The curse to India" or something.

In before someone says should change it to ****.
