Does Kumar need to be bowling 9 over spells after the series he has had?

Not sure why there's all this talk about the amount of bowling the Indians have had to do, England have bowled comfortably more overs in the series, and Anderson's had about 20 more than him and is hardly breaking down...

Yeah Root looks in great touch, looks so much busier and more active batting in the lower middle order. That's his position and he stays there for me.

If they move Root now they want shooting. Just leave Ballance, Bell and Root where they are. It has worked over the summer.

The pleasing thing about Root and Ballance is they look gutted if they get out between 50 and 100. Some players are satisfied to get a few, this pair aren't.

Yeah I can't argue against that, he needs to show more although I think there have being flashes there. Team is still in flux so plenty of slots up for grabs for young players.

Ashwin impressed me today, more intelligent bowler than given credit for. Gary Ballance is such a good player of spin, he will be so angry to have gotten out in such a tame way.
