Not sure if I've misinterpreted you but I'd say Cook falling 18 short is more than 'just' missing out - it's hitting a 50 in each match, not 50 across both innings.
If Root goes on with it in the morning then you can throw his hat into the MOtS ring too

Wasn't adding the 32 and 13 together GIMH, although the way I wrote that I can see why you would think I was.

Oh dear I really have confused the thread..........you're right, it is a half century in each test, not 50 across both innings.

Bhuvihhas faded but I'd still give him mots. If Dhoni finally tons up outside the sc in the second innings I'd give it to him.

I'd give it Bhuvi already anyways. MSD's been poor with the gloves and his captaincy has lacked (as usual).
