***Official*** India in England 2014

Cook clearly the greatest Captain of all time.

BTW "anoraky observation alert" when we have two slips to the spiners they're both Fast Bowlers, can't have happened too often?
Not recently, but Botham and Hendrick were regulars in the slips with Willis not far away at gully.

So good to see the odious Dhawan fail. He's that kid at school who thinks he's cool because his feral mum let her feral kid get a ****ty, bogan hair cut and who never gets disciplined despite being a prick of a kid with little talent.

This test is probably a lost cause but if Kohli can bat himself into some form and confidence that could be handy in the last two tests. India will still struggle to take 20 wickets but that becomes easier if you can get runs on the board. India needs to play Ashwin though. I think their best chance of winning a test is a fourth innings track with Ashwin and Jadeja following a big first innings total led by Kohli et al.

Erasmus still making half a dozen huge blunders a Test, yet still getting regular gigs. What other organization would tolerate such incompetence, year in, year out? The guy is clearly seriously visually impaired - it's a horror show watching him attempt to umpire!
Cook keeps making half a dozen **** decisions a test and getting a gig. What's the diff?

Yes Beefy of course would be there, and he was first slip for spinners too. I know Bob fielded there occasionally too, don't think they'd have been first and second though.

Oh c'mon, Jordan had better come off at the other end, you can't bowl two seamers with the problems the spinners are causing can you?

Didn't Chris Old also find himself in the slips from time to time? Also would have been alongside Beefy.

And I remember John Snow in the slips, but not alongside another quick.

YES. **** off Kohli. Moeen is a beast. Told ya he'd tear **** up. I just wasn't expecting it to be Jono that ended up tearing up.
