Before this match, when I mentioned Buttler as a replacement for Prior, a lot of people said his keeping was not ready yet. I haven't seen much of the match so can anyone tell me how it has been ?the little I have seen of him this aft, it seems ok ?
He's been very good, haven't watched it all though. Still lets a few routine takes go through because he doesn't keep low enough. Yet he's clearly an huge improvement.

There again Jordan get's one on the right line and it looks dangerous, shame it only happens infrequently.

I like that Warne does say "it's easy for us to stay it" before blathering on, TBH it may be easy for you to say, but it's ****ing hard to listen to the same points over and over again. More slips, Moeen's a golden-armed part-timer.

Erasmus still making half a dozen huge blunders a Test, yet still getting regular gigs. What other organization would tolerate such incompetence, year in, year out? The guy is clearly seriously visually impaired - it's a horror show watching him attempt to umpire!

Add to that the fact that he wears loose pants

If Cook's trying to surprise India with a part-timer, I wonder whether Ballance might be a better bet for an over or two.

EDIT
Or not

Cook clearly the greatest Captain of all time.

BTW "anoraky observation alert" when we have two slips to the spiners they're both Fast Bowlers, can't have happened too often?

Don't mind Jordan. Obviously raw but there is something there imo
Happy for him to be playing ODIs/T20s, but he's playing Test cricket at least a year too soon IMO.

Wicket for Root just underlines that pretty much everything has gone England's way today. By the way I looked back at the last day of the Lord's Test and you all missed it:

Root 66.
