***Official*** India in England 2014

International Coach
Think Jos really struggles keeping to spin - seen him miss plenty of chances in ODIs (Amla at T20 WC for example), so he is ideal for this team. On a burner with Swann he'd have not been ready though IMO.

Brilliant from Jimmy. Perfect morning so far.

Looks like England want to draw the match given the openers have run off. Terrible decision not to enforce the follow-on.

Perfect time to enforce the follow on. Bowlers will be 100% fresh

Edit: Oh well. That's good for us. We'll still lose, though.

Yeah, I think I would have preferred we enforced it but I'm not dead against this.......so long as we go out there and score at a decent clip and declare well before tea.

I'd be giving ourselves about 45 overs here, tops. Another point to make about not enforcing is that it's an extra use of the heavy roller on the pitch.

And yet another one - this gives India another chance to take overs out of the game by bowling their overs slowly. On the final day the overs have to be bowled. This wouldn't be a problem if England could actually bowl overs at a decent rate and get more than 90 in tomorrow - which they won't because they can't be bothered.

It doesn't matter what we'd have done. We are all reacting to what Cook has done. You need to get off your high horse now and then and stop spouting utter garbage.

Should have enforced the follow on. I don't rate Dhoni very highly as a test skipper but I suppose I'd take him over Cook. Terrible captaincy once again
