Yeah the way the last couple of wickets have been piling on the runs this series it probably is a redundant discussion on the follow on.

It will drive me bananas tonight if this isn't wrapped up quickly though.

If it is 4 or 5 day rain, the outcome of the match TIED? According to another does not happen?
It's called a draw when the side batting last still has wickets in hand at the end of the 5th day. A tie is different - that's when the side batting last loses its last wicket with the scores level, so both sides have scored the same number of runs across both innings.

Draws are common, particularly when rain shortens the matches. Ties are incredibly rare - just two in all of test cricket.

In one day cricket a tie is when each side scores the same number of runs in their 50 overs, regardless of how many wickets each side loses.

Unless Dhoni chooses this moment to get his first overseas hundred, we're dead meat. Need to cut the deficit to atleast 120-130 to have a chance.

Nah. The chances for a draw are pretty high imo. Unless England enforce the follow on and get India out for less than 300 I don't see a result. Today will be the 4th day and we still haven't completed 2 innings yet.

Since when have people spoken of Pujara as a young batsman? He's 26 with nearly 100 FC games under his belt. Find the idea 'he isn't where he needs to be a batsman' laughable too. He's a gun and even though he's not kicked on in this series overall he's averaging 38 on his first tour of England which would have him down as India's 3rd best performing batsman on their last tour (behind Dravid and Amit ****ing Mishra).

Need to declare before tea to have any chance IMO, and even then should be odds on draw. Wouldn't enforce the follow on still.

Man I cannot believe how good Butler has been behind the stumps.......why was there all the concern over him (or is he just having a blinder?)

Difference in movement between Jos and Prior has been night and day - the difference between being fit and athletic and springing off one Achilles I guess.
