Rahane and Rohit really let us down today. Not cool to give Ali wickets on such long-hops. Rohit had to bowl a snorter to get his.

Hypothetically if we bowl India out in the last over (or the last 3) do we have until ten to eleven tomorrow to decide whether to bowl again?

No but teams generally leave it to the last minute before letting the opposition know.

Jordan's been downright woeful today. When I saw him on the team sheet I presumed Plunkett was injured and he's done nothing to justify the call

Well Jordan has bowled himself out of a test career today I think. Needs to go away and sort that run up out before we pick him again. Woakes is the new Bresnan, a younger slimmer version. Don't mind if he gets a run in the side as he can bat. We missed Plunkett, even when he hasn't bowled that well he has hurried up the opposition at times this summer. Think this will be a hard slog to win this game.

India will do well to lose this test match on a lifeless wicket and England only having two genuine bowlers. Although they did an impressive job of gifting big wickets away today to keep England in with a shout, there's nothing to suggest England will pose a huge amount of problems for them on the final day.

Woakes and Jordan are absolutely awful picks, and if there are no better options to this pair England really are in for a lot more losses in the near term. Jordan was spraying it all over the place, and Woakes lengths were terrible and he too had radar problems. Broad isn't fully fit, and Anderson looks overbowled and very tired at times.

Anyway it's a very big first session tomorrow. If India can bat out most of it, you have to feel the game will be saved. I doubt the daring duo of Cook and Moores will be declaring until they are both absolutely sure it's impossible for India to chase whatever target is set.

Oh right, I read it as did we have to wait until ten to eleven tomorrow to make a decision. Anyway yes you can leave it until 10 minutes before.
