Our two top-scorers fall to run-outs, kind of thing that kills you on flat pitches when big scores are needed, 420 still not a bad effort given our best batsmen went for a golden, 30 short on this pitch though, will have to bowl well from here

as i have said before, we really need to work with out tail enders to improve their batting a little bit as they currently are useless with the bat- no one expects them to score tons but 10-15 each would be great consistently

Not the tail, IMO. Perera should stop acting like a tail ender and should get behind the ball. He's good enought o survive and more than capable to use the long handle. Other than foor 96 he made against Pakistan, had been extremely disappointing with the bat.

They need batsmen to hang around with them too
