Why don't we just bin off having a captain? Just get the bowlers to take turns and get the players to draw straws for who does the toss

Bowlers set their own fields, Ravi is always around to determine any declarations

Bah. They probably stay due to lack of alternatives. Onions wasn't playing for Durham last time I looked. Finn isn't doing much for Middx. Anyone got the FC averages to hand?

Rahane's ton on day one was vital , the pitch was extremely difficult to bat on, India wouldn't have crossed 200 in the first innings without Rahane's fabulous knock. I think he deserved the man of the match.

Was watching the game in and Out today (had to be today i was busy), but caught most of the crucial periods and incidents.

Seriously WTF just happened. Ishant Sharma just bounced us to a victory. :laugh: :wacko:



One of the best days for Indian Cricket for a while. Awesome :D and Dhoni back to being a troll Captain again and it working this time.

Bhuvi deserved the MOTM for me 2nd match in a row now or Rahane for a super knock but Ishant Well done. Now keep this up as you gonna stay in the side forever on the back of this.

Won a Nice bet on India winning this game as well.

Because Essex have been in division two forever despite always being tipped for promotion. I don't know if he is a good captain or not but his record is poor.

I honestly don't think either have been bad enough to contemplate dropping yet. At the end of the series I may change my mind but I have faith in them turning it round
