Went down to the ground today. God that was one of the most painful and pitiful experiences of my life. Every single dismissal was ****e but Prior's, Stokes' and Root's were borderline disgraceful. Can't believe I saw Ishant take 7-fer first hand and he even took Bhuvi's man of the match award.

#StokesandPriorout
Was thinking about going to the last session as I finished work at 3.30, and we were scoring slowly but not getting out. What a silly thought that was.

Time for your boy to show up, Jono.
Don't worry about him. Anushka on her way. She has been officially allowed by BCCI to "travel" with him during the tour::laugh: He is going to explode in the 3rd test. I predict a first day century!

Is anyone else admiring this new brand of positive and vibrant cricket that England are playing? I must have missed it because England are on the back foot for 80% of the time in these last few home Tests. It is dreadful and shocking cricket and with that joker Moores in 'charge' (i use that word loosely) then nought will change. Cook to carry on? Then India will win 2-0 and very possibly 3-0. And they deserve to win by being the more positive. England are heading for the bottom of the rankings.

Radlett 1st team would beat England over five days.

Listening to Cook and Moore makes you realize that they are part of the elite few who decide every short-term thing in English cricket. If change is to come, it must come from outside. This lot will carry their love for Prior and Bell (and Cook himself of course) a long way still.

This has been the worst sporting year of my life
In the end, it can all be rectified by Jack Wilshere being made the new England Captain:p

Oh and moan at me when your football team can't bloody bring in any players to go with a depleted squad.

Just sick to even joke about **** like that

Could be worse mate you could have signed a bunch of Exeter cast-offs

Oh erm, well, this is awkward

Tbf to Moores we were average under him last time but we weren't quite this bad

If we somehow win this series I wonder how it will be remembered. I suspect that for that to happen we would have to ring major changes

Other than Prior there is nobody I would send on their way permanently at this point but quite clearly we need to make significant changes

Who has been fully established in the England team in recent memory and lost their place on form? Seriously the only senior player I can think of getting dropped for more than a test or two is KP

Swann - retired
Trott - health issues
Strauss - retired
Flintoff - retired
Collingwood - retired

Honestly that's in five years. The only nailed on regular to lose his place in that time that I can think of is Panesar. And that was more like five and a half years ago.

Granted we had amazing form in that time and maybe there's no actual point to what I'm saying, but I just think we tolerate poor form, or we token drop them for a match or two before bringing them back.

Bell was dropped in 09 and only returned when KP was injured so I suppose he counts

Meh, just rambling really

Cook to have a go without being captain.
Taylor for Bell.
Woakes at 7.

And I have NFI who should open the bowling
Long term I would of course have a place for Cook, but if he gets the axe then he needs some timeout IMO. Even forgetting his dismal form there are just so many issues that come along with a captain who's been forced out rather than stepped aside

I mean we kept KP in the side but it was a little while before he was at his best again (in fact consistency wise I'm not sure he ever was, though he did play his best innings in the post captaincy era)

Having been away I've no idea how Taylor has looked but with a bit of luck him being picked would annoy KP and therefore fat piers so I am all for it

Woakes is fine if Freddie can't play

I know you don't agree but dropping Anderson and Broad is definitely not up for consideration (yet) IMO
