Jimmeh played well but it was a shame he got out so softly. Not quite a no.6 batsman yet.
Nah I think we can well and truly dispense with this notion now. He's been nearly as consistent as KW in this series.

For the love of God why has Holder only bowled 10 overs.
to be fair to Ramdin, Holder is very young and it's unknown how his body will hold up. OTOH, this is the last innings in the last test of the series that he's bowling in, and Shillingford has been utter crap. strange.

Benn and Shillingford have both bowled fairly poorly.

Honestly, the selection of Shillingford over Blackwood is one of the most bizarre selections I've seen. That's not even starting on the Narine situation.

Cricket on the laptop. World Cup on the TV. So good.

Another talking point is that we are lucky to be playing against a West Indies side that isn't being captained so well. Why Ramdin didn't start with Roach and Holder this morning for such a crucial session is beyond me.
Same here. Sporting heaven.
Yesterday was the same for me cricket on the laptop and Tennis on TV. Unfortunately they really didn't focus on a Federer masterclass and Serena lost.

Can't justify what Ramdin is doing, it's almost like he is trying to bowl Shilly until he justifies his selection despite the fact that he is bowling garbage while the best bowler from yesterday and most importantly the most economical is not getting a sniff of a chance, even after getting a second wicket in a limited opportunity.

This may seem as knee jerk but this is worthy of loosing the captaincy especially if he was a big part of the Shillingford selection.

The rain sucks more for NZ because it might force an overnight declaration, which actually brings the Windies back into the game.

Rain forecast for tomorrow iirc so if we need to delcare overnight 290 will be a reasonable target. If the West Indies make 290 in a rain interrupted day then they are very deserving series winners.

Looks like it has stopped raining, but the covers are still on.

Edit: they took the covers off, put some covering over the pitch then put the covers back on. Not sure why.

They're working on drying the outfield now.

Pffft the rain. 290 ahead with 4 wickets in hand, NZ are well on top of this one. So it's looking likely the home/away legs combined will end up 3-1 to NZ, when if not for rain in could well have been 5-1. Lucky for the Windies again.

Guys!!!!!! Don't wanna say too much but can't say that I'm surprised that it's raining once again when NZ are in a good position for a win against the Windies. Not surprised at all.
