Ramdin's gloves were in front of the stumps there. Wicket should be scrubbed and a bonus 50 runs added to our total

Not the score I was hoping to wake up to - how is the pitch playing? Looks like all our batsmen got out after making starts; that a result of the pitch being difficult to play on, good bowling or **** batting?

He's a #9 for f's sake. Wagner was unluckily strangled and Boult was always going to slog out, no matter how much strike he was afforded.
Agreed, did bloody well again, 2nd highest score to go the highest score in the last innings.

Missed most of it myself but reading the comments from earlier, it sounds like good balls got everyone apart from Rutherford and McCullum.

It's got pace, bounce and turn but if you bowl filth you get smashed.

That's why we have a high run rate but lost a lot of wickets. McCullum and Rudds the only two top six batsmen who played shocking shots.

No way should Southee be batting where he is. The guy can't defend and looks like he doesn't give a toss. Looks like he's put zero effort into improving his batting.

He can't defend but can connect with the ball at times so drop him below Boult and let him hit out.

Southee batted sensibly today and got out to a ball which would get a lot of tailenders out.

I've come to accept that Southee only bats at eight to provide us with a comedic interlude either side of the regular cricket. Lighten up :p

Mate, you and Blocky are too easy to confuse. One of you needs an av.

Mate, there is only so far you can go sometimes in terms of putting up with bull****. And frankly, whenever you become involved in a thread you turn conversation into spite. So please, for the love of god, just piss off so the rest of us can enjoy talking about cricket.
To be honest, your posting style is utter **** and resorting to insults like that won't endear you to anyone. To talk about "spiteful conversation" - sorry when one guy gets something factual completely wrong and argues the toss about it, he deserves to be pulled up. When that same guy does it repeatedly, there is no other thing to call it except ignorance. When someone like you throws an insult out, realistically, it's the result of a small mind.

If you don't want it to turn spiteful, don't be spiteful - I don't insult anyone, I insult their points.

Set batsman giving strike away first ball of every over is as brainless for a #9 as it is for a #4.

Boult's recent approach of trying too many different deliveries per over and going searching seems to have rubbed off on Southee . I'd be happier with 5 deliveries per over targeting a good line and length.
