On the other "OMG WindiesWeathers, how dare you compare Taylor and Roach to Boult and Southee... they're lightyears apart"

Then you all get on this "Ban WW for having contrary opinions to me" trip which makes me laugh. The whole idea that debate can't be lively and that we shouldn't back the teams we're supporting is beyond me. I think there are a lot of fragile egos in this place.

I'm not offended at all. I just think you're being totally disingenuous. If you really wanted to move on I fail to see why you'd keep quoting these posts in order to have little digs.

No i'm keen to get this thread back on track and filled with lively, positive debates...but as the quote above from Howsie proves i didn't say Roach and Taylor were "better" then Southee and Boult...it's that simple.

I really wouldn't mind Williamson getting a go at opening, but it's a bit awkward to ask him to do it in a one-off test. Backing him to pick up a 5fer in this game.

But our numskull selectors are likely to stick with the so-called winning combo, conveniently forgetting that Gabriel has been pretty mediocre and for all his heart, Benn seriously needs to give way to Narine. I don't even care if WI get pasted in the next test.....
