Five for Prasad, but perhaps just a little fortunate to get the last one. IMO it should be taken when the foot is flat on the ground anyway, when the heel first makes contact with the ground the angle of the front leg works in the bowler's favour.Gonna win this with no balls
What's wrong with that, though? You'd see dozens of spinners getting no-balled otherwise.Five for Prasad, but perhaps just a little fortunate to get the last one. Yup. Same old England - absolutely nothing learned from the winter. And yet another of the experienced brigade contributing sweet FA.i see matt prior is still yet to learn how to play the short ball
That was why I thought it was a no ball to start with, once they had a proper close up you could see the foot was behind where the line was further over so no complaint from me.That line is not even remotely close to straight
I've seen plenty of spinners release with their foot over the line as opposed to on it.Spinners never seem to flirt with the line like the quicks do though. Herath has been releasing with his whole foot behind it.
Glad to see you didn't include captaincy as one of the poor disciplines. I think it's unfair to see if Cook's turning it around effectively as a cap'n with so little to work with.Yup. Same old England - absolutely nothing learned from the winter. And yet another of the experienced brigade contributing sweet FA.
At the risk of offending the SL contributors, this may well be our worst home performance ever. Not just the losing of course, but the level of performance in all three disciplines has been horrendous.
It's an interesting question.Getting bounced out by Sri Lanka.
This is lower than New Zealand in 1999 and Zimbabwe in 1997.
