230.What is the consensus on what NZ will end up with this innings now?
270-280, IMO.
Was similarly bad under Taylor has only scored 3 50's away from home since his break out series in 2010need to score at least 100 more. 300 looks a lot better than 198/6.
mccullum has a horrific away record as captain. was averaging 14 before this test iirc.
Ouch, stick to your day job budDecent tail with Boult at 11, still though, this is not a situation tailor-made for Southee (although it is Taylor-made haha)
Craig averages 22 with the bat in FC cricket. Taylor was looking to trust his partner and build a partnership.A single off the first ball, Rosco? Really? Craig's gone on the third ball now.
Tasting what? I said if Latham starts to show the same signs of consistency, he'll make the Windies pay. I also said Taylor was a solid if unspectacular bowler and put more time into talking about how ineffective Roach was likely to be.... Taylor has out performed my expectations but Roach certainly hasn't. I also wouldn't expect (based on recent scores on this wicket) that a score over 200 is extremely poor. I'd still expect the Windies to be bowled out under 200.Anyway, I'm happy to see Blocky tasting it.
I'll also point out that Blocky didn't rate Latham, something he forgot to mention in his "I was right about everything" comment.
no it isn't. an opener has the top score.Back to the New Zealand team that I know and love.
Normally, I'd agree. It just didn't feel like one of those days where Craig was ever going to hang around out there though. He was always going to go early.Craig averages 22 with the bat in FC cricket. Taylor was looking to trust his partner and build a partnership.
Boult is just a hitter though. Time for Ross to start swinging.
