Every ball was good. That pretty much never happens in those circumstances. It really is frightening how ****ing destructive Broad can be when he really, really wants to be
I mean, Pradeep only survived five balls but that's already some effortEvery ball was good. That pretty much never happens in those circumstances.
Day 5, likely draw, apparently the weather isn't great (though that might be my mate complaining), SL is just one factorIs this the first time DRS has changed the result of a test match ?
Also a disappointingly small crowd for Lords. Is it because it was Sri Lanka?
Double hit with the bat, he may have just seen the one that came after it hit the pad and thought that was the noise. That's actually a howling decision from the Umps. But that's the point of DRS.
Haha yeah. Bless him.Cook trying very hard not to say "our spinners are too **** to get selected" but not quite succeeding
I certainly wouldn't mind seeing them banned, would put a stop to it. Yet I don't really see why the common-sense option of those overs actually being bowled it's "Sunny" in England until about 9 British Summer Time. Yet they traipsed off each day without the right overs being bowled. Both Matthews and Cook should be banned for the next test for the over rate. No doubt some will note England cost themselves a few overs in the match with their over-rate on day 3. But Matthews in the end got rewarded for losing about 11 overs from his side's slow rate, and that's just wrong.
No complaints from me if they were. Probably cost ourselves a victory in the end by going so slowly all game. Both Matthews and Cook should be banned for the next test for the over rate.
