Probably a smart decision that they now require a clear spike on snicko. Was farcical when any kind of minor line was considered evidence to overturn. Brings it back to removing howlers rather than making it a gamble.

Since the day he was born I'd imagine. No one who gets on umpires more than him, winges about decisions, hates mankading when it happens to Sri Lanka but loves it otherwise. Top player obviously, but thoroughly dislikeable.

This sums him up IMO. We've seen plenty of other examples of him doing this as well.

What's wrong with standing his ground. IMO Clarke/Watson is the one being the ass here.. Where in the rule book does it say you have to walk? It's not like Clarke is some saint who always walks.

This is just gamesmanship.. you might be all about the "spirit of the game" but I'd rather players play like professionals and exploit situations to their advantage if it's within the rules. If it seems unfair then get the damn rules changed!
