i feel sorry for him. he took one for the team as canterbury skipper and opened when they needed someone that wasn't worker or nicol. did it well. everyone wanted to ignore him. got picked. everyone licked their lips for some sweet fulton failure. he succeeded. people kept licking their lips. he failed. gets laughed at by the internet and shouted at by talkback yobbos.

cheers for the memories fults. you smashing england was glorious, but your slump is too bad sadly. we're breaking up with you.

A great career ends.

England let him score two hundreds in a match though, lets us never forget this.
Of course the irony is those centuries in both innings were worse for NZ than England in the final wash. Bought him a free 10-test pass. Just a shame it wasn't as a spectator.

If Fulton is dropped for the second test, who replaces him?

Is there another right hander to take his place? The BC's like to have the left/right combination.

I would have thought because they have a new batting coach that they would try to retain Fulton to see if Macca can rectify Fulton's issues.

Also Fulton's form is not terminal for the rest of the team - the batting unit appears to be able to function pretty well even though he is adding next to nothing.
