I mentioned Kerrigan getting picked in the Moores thread. Wouldn't surprise me at all. The convention is always to pick a frontline spinner, and Moores will have seen as much of Kerrigan's good stuff as probably anyone, and the wickets he's picked up already this year certainly won't hurt his cause. I'd rather he was picked than Monty. He had a shocker against Australia (though he did only bowl 8 overs), but I'd like to see him given another go, and given a proper run. I know it's an overused, and miserable comparison, but Warne went for 1/150 in his first Test match. Our spinning options are looking pretty abject atm though when you think Kerrigan, Panesar, Borthwick and part-timers are our best options.
I'd go with:
Cook
Robson
Bell
Root
Ballance
Stokes (if fit, if not, Moeen)
Prior
Broad
Anderson
Mills
Kerrigan
Robson has to play, as does Ballance. Prior's probably our best option behind the stumps, though I wouldn't be against Jos Buttler being given a go. Then with the bowling I'd go with the raw pace of Tymal Mills, and I'd give Kerrigan a go. Tough on Jordan, but we need some fresh blood and excitement in the side, and Tymal Mills certainly brings that.
