Anderson has repeatedly looked clueless against Narine since then, first in the Hamilton Test and then in the IPL. Could just be a bogey bowler, but that's where the "bad against spin" thing is coming from. Personally I think he's far better against spin than pace as a Test batsman, especially by New Zealand standards, but it could be a different story in T20 cricket. Flatter T20 wickets mean he can hit the quicks through the line, and the nature of the game means his terrible offstump judgement against seamers isn't really a factor while his inability to read mystery spinners from the hand is exasperated as he needs to be attacking them.
