*Official* English Football Season 2013-14

Furball

Evil Scotsman
Reading through the early pages of this thread while watching today's games. Incredible some of the surprises this season.

Nobody saw Liverpool coming even if Furball and Cevno's tip they'd struggle to sixth was always crass (Furball also labelled everyone who thought yer scousers would finish above Arse as morons ftr), but even Ikki wasn't tipping a title tilt, Nate felt they'd have an outside shot at top 4. Sturridge had few convinced (Wellbeck was better)

Palace were definitely going down. West Brom looked like the real deal (Brumby). Scaly was worried that Arsenal might actually win the title.

Tbf to Furball his dogmatic dislike of Spurs was proved correct. Uppercut said he'd only call for Moyes' head if they failed for top four and he was consistent in that. And I loved Ryan Lowe

Oh and Grecian was a grumpy ****

Mind you I've only read up to about October

Palace were going down until their directors remembered that Holloway was a clown and opted to appoint an actual manager.

The only predictions I recall making were that Norwich would do somewhat better, and that City would win the league. Could yet be proved right on both, I suppose

Tbf it was after he went that these comments were made but IMO that evidence of how well Pulis has done

Tom Halsey

International Coach
Can't remember if I aired any of my predictions in this thread but Everton doing as well as they have was definitely one I got wrong as I expected them to decline under Martinez. Shall be tipping them to decline next year as well depending on what they do in the summer.

Remember earlier in the season when Wes Brown had a couple of good matches, and the press and comms went totally OTT?

Even talk of him getting back in the England Squad. Thank **** those days are over.
