*Official* English Football Season 2013-14

Looking increasingly tight down the bottom of league one, our run is OK with no one above 11th left to play but we really need to get something off Bradford this weekend as half the people at the bottom are playing each other.

And Barcelona banned from signing players until the 2015 summer. Wonder how this is a conspiracy to allow Barca to win everything.

Valencia should've walked but they're just whining about Schweinsteiger, always going to get a second yellow for that.
Yup. And I'm not convinced that Guardiola or anyone fron Bayern is in much of a position to complain about players diving anyway. Not that I thought Rooney did, fwiw. Actually I quite liked Rooney's response to Pigsticker's protests. Not that the latter was doing a lot to dispel the arrogant Kraut stereotype..

Ha I never even thought of the keeper situation. The ban might have actual consequences.

Although if Pinto goes down injured no doubt there'll be "special dispensation" to sign someone better.

According to Balague, Barca have 90 days to appeal it. Given that the appeal will take some time, even if they lose it that still means that in all likelihood they will be fine to sign players this summer. Obviously that depends on Balague being right (never to be taken for granted) but it sounds likely.

Yeah, that would make sense.

Actually saw someone say 'it's ok they've got La Masia'. No it's not, the place is populated with exactly those people they got into trouble for signing...

Can they bribe all 10 players and their families, like Chelsea did with Lens (Kakuta) and Lyn (Mikel)?

Dortmund should have taken at least one away goal back home though.

Not been their season, had an absolutely horrendous time of it with injuries.

Yeah they always miss loads of chances though. Lewandowski's ridiculous game in the semis last year was the exception.

Chelsea look in trouble too. Aren't the same team when they have to force the issue.

Is it really a shock to see a squad who's been absolutely pushed to the limit for years finally be hit with an injury crisis? It was bound to happen.

Mouinho just going to moan about his strikers for the rest of the season isn't he? I am going to hate it so much when they buy Diego Costa.

Injuries will always happen to sides like Dortmund but I think you can feel unlucky if 3 first team members get 6 month+ injuries in one season. Someone tearing their ACL is just plain unfortunate.

Letting Lukaku go on loan looked odd at the time but it looks proper bat**** now. He'd be such an upgrade on Torres.

Does seem a curious one, particularly since Mourinho's comments at the time suggested that he didn't really rate Lukaku.

Yeah but even if you're moderately sceptical of Lukaku, Torres just isn't a footballer at this stage. It's surprising that Demba Ba hasn't got more of a run out but having not played all season you couldn't really expect him to come in and perform against PSG straight away.
