Getting sick of seeing Sharma open in ODIs. Slows everything down. Maybe Rahane or Pujara should open and he should bat at 4 or 5.

This has happened so many times in the last free months. Kohli makes it look so easy when the rest of our lineup struggles and scraps

Has Kohli already done enough to be qualified as ODI great? No 3 position has heavy competition in an All time ODI team though.

From who? Viv and Ponting? Kohli will finish as a better bat easily considering his age. 18 tons at 25 years of age is incredible.

Rahane at the top of the order and Rohit at four/five can be explored. He's helped out greatly in building a partnership with Kohli. He can do the same with Dhawan, who needs a more responsive partner. Rohit will also be comfortable at five. And, of course, Pujara at four in place of the scratchy Rayudu.

There's a reason why Indians tend to overrate any bowler who hurls the ball over 140K- they've had results, especially against India. Indian bowlers who bowl over 140K are rare- not surprisingly, successful Indian pacers are, too.

If Pandey gets the next game, he has to open the bowling. Pandey and Shami may be a good opening combination.

Will end up better than Ponting for sure imo. Viv, though? Probably not
Viv himself seems to rate him. And his 100s while chasing have been close to unbelievable so far. That 138* against SL in Aus(Hobart?), 2 back to back 60 ball 100s recently etc. Won't be surprised to see him retire as the second best ODI bat after Tendulkar.

Yes, those two were the names that came to my mind when I wrote that line. And Sanga as well, though Sanga is more flexible to bat at other places.

Sanga is overrated. Nowhere close to any all time XI in my opinion. Except maybe a Sri Lankan XI.:p
