Huh? The Anderson lbw dismissal, you don't think there's a outside chance NZ would have got another 40-50 runs, had the 3rd umpire been allowed to recall him?Huh? The Dhoni no-ball dismissal, you don't think there's a outside chance India would have got the 40-50 runs had he been recalled for that?
Agree with Bahnz,
NZ had huge Andrrson and Baz stand sawn off, India's biggest first innings stand was courtesy of a shocking non LBW. Crucial moments in the match, but they weren't on the last afternoon ......
Yup, the luck has swung around, so 1-1 feels right.Anderson's lbw, Watling's no-ball dismissal etc
Both clearly not out, Dhoni's wasn't

Lol, let's forget he bats 7 or 8, has just 1 FC ton and averages less than 25 in FC cricket shall we?Second best technique in the country
My guess given the way we bowled:Yup, the luck has swung around, so 1-1 feels right.
I would love to have a crystal ball though to see if this test would have been different had NZ won a toss.
They are all fair points, but you don't think 1-1 is a fair outcome? You don't think there's a chance that Anderson would've scored another 40 or 50 runs if he hadn't been Davised in the the first innings? You don't think India would've skittles for 40 or 50 fewer runs in the first innings if Rahane hadn't survived a plumb lb shout? You don't think NZ might've scored 30 or 40 more runs if Watling hadn't been given out on a no-ball in NZ's second innings?
Tastle to do a reverse Tastle. Sacrificial opener who also happens to be the best spinner in the countryLol, let's forget he bats 7 or 8, has just 1 FC ton and averages less than 25 in FC cricket shall we?
I never said that. My point was that New Zealand weren't "a tad fortunate" to win the first test. They are all fair points, but you don't think 1-1 is a fair outcome?
Yes, but not for the reasons you've given. "Luck" has nothing to do with it. We were hit with as many bad decisions as they were in the first test and India have played the better cricket in this test regardless of whether or not they won the toss. It's favourable batting conditions at the moment, and India are still winning the contest between bat and ball. They are all fair points, but you don't think 1-1 is a fair outcome?
Guptill's greatest weakness is himself. His top two inches. The guy is one of the biggest mind-*** I can ever remember playing cricket.Gotta retain Ruds I reckon. Don't think going back to domestic cricket is what he needs at all. Better off working on his flaws in the NZ set up.
When he goes back to domestic he just plays his normal way and gets runs. Similar to Guptill. They both have a technique that allows them to dominate domestic attacks but things get exposed in Tests. That's why everyone is against recalling Guptill - we know he can score FC runs without actually having fixed his technical issues. Rutherford would be the same IMO, so better off leaving him in the national side to sort things out.
What did he say? I heard something about being a taxi driver from the kitchenlol at rigor's call on styris
