Incidentally, unless my math is wrong, there's a less than 1% (0.78%) chance of calling 7 coin tosses correct in a row (obviously prior to the first coin toss) in spite of the fact every individual coin toss is 50/50 odds. Has any other captain in history had such a lucky streak as this one from Dhoni?

Haha, so our worst nightmare came true then aye :p. Call me cynical, but I was totally resigned to the fact Dhoni would win the toss again and it would start green and flatten out. Crucial toss. In the few overs I've seen, Indian batsmen look pretty comfortable and Boult has not been accurate at all. Bugger.
Funny thing about Boult is that often even when he strays in line and length he doesn't go for a lot of runs - bowls some garbage a foot and a half outside leg that doesn't get hit, plus batsmen are always wary about driving him even when a little overpitched. The fields set also help. He definitely hasn't been at his most accurate this series unfortunately.

Just got home having not seen a ball all day. Couple of questions;

1) Is 192 a decent score considering the pitch conditions?
2) Were NZ terrible or were India just really good or was it just a really really difficult wicket?
3) Is the pitch still looking as good for bowling or has it flattened out?
1) Nope
2) NZ were bad, we were good and the pitch offered lots of assistance early on, but I'm sure it'll ease up a lot
3) Definitely looks green, still but maybe easier than the first session and it'll continue to flatten

Honestly, if we bat decently and get to 300, which we should, I think we'll win comfortably

Southee's first five balls there were so ****ing good.
Agree, not quite relentless enough though.

Giving away far too many easy runs here, even if we don't pick up wicket the least we can do is keep it tight. Did nobody tell them they only have 190 runs on the board.
