Broad is pretty much the only bowler I've seen give Clarke serious trouble with it. No idea why SA persist with it but they've done so for two series before this...
clarke randomly gets out to it but **** it gets him going 99% of the time

Trying to find that video of Clarke hitting Morkel for something like 4 boundaries in a row straight down the ground in their last series. Was glorious.

Michael Holding sharing with us all that he thinks de Villers is in fact the best batsman since Bradman and that his average of 60 since taking over the gloves doesn't do him justice.

it was 5 in a row. pretty sure it's not on yout00b, asked rob to upload it once but he said it's on a dvd so copyrighted or something.

At Adelaide btw

64.1
Morkel to Clarke, FOUR, Clarke has laid into Morkel, moving forward to a length ball and lofting on the up, through the line and over extra cover
64.2
Morkel to Clarke, no run, played off the back foot with an open face to point
64.3
Morkel to Clarke, FOUR, just too short and too wide, Clarke stays in his crease and cuts hard to the point boundary.
64.4
Morkel to Clarke, FOUR, more width outside the off stump, Clarke cuts again, finer this time to the backward point boundary. South Africa are reeling like a swooning boxer
64.5
Morkel to Clarke, FOUR, Morkel has been dismantled. Clarke moves forward to a length ball and plays a punchy straight drive that beats the diving fielder at mid-off
64.6
Morkel to Clarke, FOUR, Clarke is dealing South Africa a series of haymakers here. He moves past 150 with a stunning straight drive, moving forward to drill a full ball right past the bowler. Morkel looks listless

And ignore the stats on SuperSport; they include a couple of games earlier in his career before he took over full-time.

I can find one of the fours on youtube (on drive). There's like a hundred of the exact same video. Might watch them all.

**** Craddock is terrible.
Yeah he's not great but I've softened a little bit on him, only because I've started to enjoy his enthusiasm on the game even though I don't agree with a lot of what he says. Genuinely loves the game, which is better than having **** opinions and cynical like Dorries or someone from test match sofa.

if clarke can survive till tea. aus are on for a good score. this pitch is usually good on day two. And who ever is there will want to pile on some runs.
