first impression of doolan is he bats kinda like you would expect someone with his record too. a bit loose technically but talented enough, and gets out after getting a start. in saying that this bowling attack at home is the last place in the world you would want to debut at number three. certainly did his work well.

Never before have I heard Doolan described as this.
cement feet, varies between leaving very well and then randomly fending wide and having a waft. as i said, first impression since he may well bat very differently in FC and if he does then i'll cop that because i'm not tumtum.

not much fills me with as much confidence as a short pitched based plan against clarkeh. all day baby
Broad is pretty much the only bowler I've seen give Clarke serious trouble with it. No idea why SA persist with it but they've done so for two series before this...
