Owen's analysis is dismal.

I the last two minutes we've heard "strong as an ox" and "brave as a lion".
Has nil charisma and nil by way of useful/interesting observations. It's surprising how someone who spent so many years as a pro, and always came across as quite reasonable during his playing days, makes such a cack pundit. I would actually rather listen to Robbie Savage, that is how bad Owen is.

Haha, apparently Rooney has moved into the top 10 all-time yellow carded Premiership players today. I wonder what odds you'd get on him being at the top of that list come the end of his career.

Trips to Anfield and Old Trafford amongst those easy fixtures btw. Just stop now.
What do you expect exactly? Obviously within the ten or twelve game period we are talking about here there will be the odd hard game. However no-one with half a brain could describe Southampton's opening fixtures as in any way taxing if viewed overall.

I agree with you that Southampton's recent run of form is nowhere near as bad as it looks if you just look at results.

Regarding Southampton's early run of fixtures though it seems to me as though you are playing the poster rather than the post as I don't see how you can possibly disagree with that. It's just true.

Scholes would be my guess. Would be very surprised if he isn't top 3.
Yeah, according to the BBC the top ten is:
99 - Kevin Davies, Lee Bowyer, Paul Scholes

97 - Robbie Savage

89 - Gareth Barry, Scott Parker

88 - George Boateng

85 - Phil Neville

82 - Kevin Nolan

79 - Wayne Rooney
I don't think the presence of any of the above names would come as a surprise tbh.

****ing ****.

Attacking was so 1 dimensional until the last half hour or so and got done on the counter twice again at home.

Even getting angry at Howard Webb seems useless.

Agree, Webb has never given United the rub of the green.
Actually that impression is working to the opposite now since towards the end of last season. Seems to have gotten to his head.

Anyway, Lloris has been getting away almost every time since arriving in England when he gets caught out like that in a iffy situation. There was a situation in the first half too where he arguably handled it outside the box and been a few in previous games as well.

Yeah, Webb is just poor. Gutless in fact, which some idiots seem to see as a strength. When Fergie was bullying all refs around him, Webb was ****ting himself, now it's Jose.

The World Cup final was the most spineless thing ever, people saying he didn't want to ruin the game, yeah the game that was one of the most horrendous in history, that game. Glad he didn't ruin it.

He looks a bit like Collina, but that hides the fact he's just a pathetic shambling weakling underneath.

Not a fan BTW.

Obviously this decision will be forgotten the next time a decision goes for United by all the mindless ABUs. As it always is.

Haha yep, Fergie or Jose would have been jumping up and down the touchline and given him a right old bollocking for today. After the match finished to his face or post match.

Even if it meant getting banned, so be it.

I almost wanted Moyes to show some Charisma and aggression and do something like that. If not anything might have been a rallying point for the team.
