Its not about struggling with the bat. Its about being a ****ing idiot.
Agree with you but I think he was being a idiot, because he had no confidence in his ability too hang around too long batting sensibly.

This whole tail with this bowling combination is too long. And the seamers haven't delivered with the ball last 2 innings either.

In other words he has a problem with sense.

He bowled 58 overs ffs. how does he not have the patience to bat two overs?

Weak excuse considering the wicket is subcontinent like and Steyn batted for over two hours on this surface. Jadeja didn't even give himself time to struggle.
I agree that he should have applied himself more but -

Don't think the wicket is sub continent like. The ball is moving for the seamers.

And Steyn didn't have to face a attack of Steyn, Morkel and Philander.

Yes, Ishant Sharma cannot be in the team. Dot. Everyone says he has made an awesome comeback in this series. And. He averages 58 for the series. Cannot believe I am still saying this. He should have been dropped and forgotten long back..

Reckon Kohli will go and give Srinivasan a wedgie and get DRS on for India? Nah. He is going to encash his next IPL cheque and wish Srinivasan on his goddamn birthday!

Really? Everyone that has said something similar has been joking.

Looks like Rahane is willing to give Zaheer the strike to Peterson but not the fast bowlers.

That or he just wanted his 50 again

Definitely.

I'm a Rohit fan but Rahane is the better player and also better suited to #5.
I'm not prepared to say Rahane is the better player overall just yet. Better player in South African conditions? Yeah, sure.

Should definitely be batting five anyway though because he's more suited to it.

5 wickets in a session on that pitch is an utter disgrace. Even with how well SA bowled, ridiculous.

Have read articles saying that he's back with a bang. Tbf that was after his 4 wicket burst but it was still stupid.

I don't want Ishant to be dropped tbh. He deserves a 40+ average, which is within touching distance
