It's a pity the next game is at Napier. I assume it's going to be the usual road?Sri Lankan spinner Ajantha Mendis holds the world record of 19 ODIs to reach 50 wickets. McClenaghan is aware he needs 10 from his next three games to rewrite the books.
I guess we have suspicions as to what those reasons are (Beamers posts). Sad that his brother couldn't sort that out for him.
no, it hasn't.Well that has clearly confirmed that Sammy did in fact pelt down Bravo. .
It happened. Seriously, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work it out. It's all over the place in the Caribbean. Can't wait to hear Ian Bishop on commentary at the next ODI.no, it hasn't.
I think he is a decent technical coach, particularly with bowlers. He has done some excellent work with Rampaul and Roach who both sing his praises. He has however, completely failed as a manager and as a result we have lost some very important batsman and he has seriously offended Gayle, Shiv and Sarwan at different points. Please take him back! we don't need someone quite so technical at this stage, we just need our best XI out on the park! Let the technical stuff be done at youth and FC level.I am unconvinced about Saker, so I would take Gibson back in a heartbeat. Think he did some really nice work as a bowling coach for us.
Great opportunity for Milne to come in and make an impression. No Gayle (noted destroyer of rookie bowlers), so I would definitely be giving him a chance if I were NZ management. Neesham looked pretty awful to me, I'd replace himw with Milne.Tbf NZ's ODI bowling - Mill's aside- is pretty terribad.
Plus the guy who has taken 40 wickets in 15 games, right?Tbf NZ's ODI bowling - Mill's aside- is pretty terribad.
You can maybe afford to carry one run leaking wicket taker in an odi side, but NZ's bowling is overflowing with 5.5+ rpo bowlers at the moment.Plus the guy who has taken 40 wickets in 15 games, right?
Neesham is a batting all-rounder being forced to play as a bowling all-rounder, ideally he would bat at seven and be your fourth seamer, not your third. Unfortunately for him Corey Anderson exists. New Zealand seem hell bent on developing them on the fly together however.Great opportunity for Milne to come in and make an impression. Yeah it seems McCullum is making suggestions Milne and his "out-and-out pace" will play tomorrow.Great opportunity for Milne to come in and make an impression. Agreed, you're being a bit disingenuous to suggest one of them is not a good ODI bowler though. Just because he's Gavin Larsen doesn't mean he's not a bloody effective white ball bowler. You can maybe afford to carry one run leaking wicket taker in an odi side, but NZ's bowling is overflowing with 5.5+ rpo bowlers at the moment.
Still too many half trackers.Yeah it seems McCullum is making suggestions Milne and his "out-and-out pace" will play tomorrow.
The talk of the domestic thread has been about Milne's useless figures (and whether he can be bowling above high 130s to actually have such figures), but I see he was getting Auckland hopping around two weeks ago in Napier -
