When he gets going he can bowl 140/142..it was one issue he had last year but this year he's learned how to up his pace when needed..certainlya big talent for us and reminds me so much of Ambrose.

And just a comment about Hendrix saying he might be more effective in NZ than at home!!..well he got 4/12 against Pakistan this year at home..the boy is even better in th caribbean imo.

This is interesting. So based on this what makes you think Southee and Boult will be less effective in the Caribbean when guys like Holder are still able to clean up?

With Baz's lbw - I though if you were more than a certain distance down the track it had to be hitting middle?

Anyway i can't argue with 156 all out...when you have three decent bowlers this is what can happen...in the tests only our spinner was decent and we paid for it..

It's not over yet though we still need to get those runs.
Somewhat skeptical of that tbh, I have no doubt he's capable of looking quicker than he is due to that steepling bounce though. His action definitely isn't making the most of his resources, it's all arms with no front foot pivot. Obviously he's a very good bowler despite all that so I'm interested to see if he can fix that and get closer to his potential ceiling,

I won't be panicking too much tbh, it really was just one of those days where almost every little half-chance was taken, almost everything hit in the air went to hand, the best batsman getting run-out etc etc. There's not much wrong with that NZ batting line-up except for the exclusion of Watling & possibly Munro. The fact it was one of the strongest lineups we've had for some time seemed to caused the batsmen to leave it for the next guy. Also, credit must go to the Windies bowlers and fielders.

Indeed. They are so close to having there best possible ODI line-up. It's so refreshing to see no Nicol or Ellis in sight.

yeah this.

It was excellent bowling. We know Narine is one of the best LO bowlers in the world and Holder bowled exceptionally well.

Poor match for Jesse
