In hindsight maybe beating up both spinners with some short balls, go for the fingers etc would have been a better option in case it turns.

I think it's just Boult and Southee bowling better and tailenders looking uncomfortable.

Decent bounce, but the tail being beaten for pace isn't anything new so I guess we'll have to wait and see for when we bat.

Top bowling by our star bowling pair this morning. Big improvement from yesterday.

Yes and this is one of the excellent things about this pair; they learn from their mistakes. Would have worked out they were a little short and a little inaccurate yesterday and went about fixing that this morning, and have two wickets to show for it.

I hope Flem is right that NZ FTB Peter Fulton will peel off a hundred here, because early wickets are going to leave me very nervous about a collapse.

Really good bowling this morning. Utilised the swing perfectly and bowled an excellent length.

Nice little cameo from Permaul. If Best can avoid batting like an idiot and we can get to 350 I'll be pretty happy.

Should never have been taken off. Replacing him with Sodhi when there's only one wicket to go is baffling.
