do we have any pace allrounder that can step up to international level atm. Hearing Rishi Dhawan a lot but is doing that well domestically? If so, hopefully, he is atleast more than medium fast.
He is in awesome form in domestic matches, he is not that quick but has been really effective overall.

I think we can not go with 4 bowlers while playing in SA, Aus or Eng. 5 bowlers gives us a much better chance and also helps in managing the workload of the bowlers well.
When we choose 4 bowlers(including a spinner), and if our spin bowler is not very effective, it gets really difficult for the other 3 to manage the overall workload. And it wouldn't be a great idea either to not select even one spinner since that is our strength and if the pitch wears enough an Ashwin or Ojha can get deadly. So the only solution here would be to go with 5 bowlers. Ashwin has anyways improved his batting, he can bat at 7, if he is injured or out of form he can be replaced with Jadeja. And at number 8, we can have Rishi Dhawan/ Irfan(if fit) or anyone else who fits in that role.

That would also strengthen our bowling and add more variety without making the batting weak. 6 batsmen + 2 allrounders + 3 pace bowlers is the ideal combination for us.

Dhoni can't bat 6 though

Kohli
Those quick runs suddenly made the session a decent one for India. Been a very good partnership between these two. Loving it

Which of JontyPanesar or OverratedSanity is the one who rags on Kohli all the time?

Gonna make your life living hell if he scores well here. In a nice way of course.

Playing 5 bowlers would mean you have a weaker batting line up and you still accommodate Ishant. Just drop Ishant ffs.

India's session. Day 1 Jo'burg you take that. Most importantly it was the two openers out, not Kohli or Pujara.
