would be ridiculous if they fall to tahir thoughI'm tipping a 350+ score here with twin tons for Kohli and Pujara. If they dont throw it away, they'll get the chance to feast on Tahir and the other part timers soon
Err, we're not Pakistanwould be ridiculous if they fall to tahir though
He is in awesome form in domestic matches, he is not that quick but has been really effective overall.do we have any pace allrounder that can step up to international level atm. Hearing Rishi Dhawan a lot but is doing that well domestically? If so, hopefully, he is atleast more than medium fast.
quoting it here to make sure it does if anything of the sort happensErr, we're not Pakistan
Edit: this is going to bite m in the arse isn't it?
Dhoni can't bat 6 thoughHe is in awesome form in domestic matches, he is not that quick but has been really effective overall.
I think we cant go with 4 bowlers while playing in SA, Aus or Eng. 5 bowlers gives us a much better chance and also helps in managing the workload of the bowlers well.
When we choose 4 bowlers(including a spinner), and if our spin bowler is not very effective, it gets really difficult for the other 3 to manage the overall workload. And it wouldn't be a great idea either to not select even one spinner since that is our strength and if the pitch wears enough a spinner can get deadly. So the only solution here would be to go with 5 bowlers. Ashwin has anyways improved his batting, he can bat at 7. We can get Rishi Dhawan/Irfan(if fit) or anyone else who seems to fit in that role. It also offers a lot of flexibility to the captain since there is a lot more variety in the bowling department.
Indeed. Playing five bowlers would be a great idea if you could field twelve players. Alas, the laws of cricket...Dhoni can't bat 6 though
