***Official*** West Indies in New Zealand 2013/14

Another one bites the dust.....

I was going to say earlier that we shouldn't enforce the follow-up if we only just got the 200+ lead after bowling for half the day, but if we can roll them now with the ball swinging and the bowlers relatively fresh, perhaps it's not the worst option.

Thoughts on the follow-on enforcement chaps?
Unless your bowlers are knackered, I'd enforce 9/10.

Remember Mr Captain, that a fast bowler will always want to have a bowl, no matter how exhausted the is

Fantastic bowling this morning, fair play to New Zealand.

As for the shots played by Marlon, Sammy, Shilly and Best.........the phrase cricketing dunces comes to mind. Apart from the last 2 days at Dunedin, this tour has been an absolute disaster. Please remind me not to speak about par 1st innings scores in tests involving West Indies as logic just doesn't apply to them. From total application at Dunedin to less than 50 overs of batting here. Unbelievable.

If you had Bracewell as 3rd seamer you might consider it, as he could bowl with new ball from one end bowling 10 overs straight and rotate Southee and Boult at the other end. Instead Wagner will waste the ball.

EDIT: Looks like they are enforcing - Anderson deserves to be first change bowler.

Hmm, don't know about enforcing the follow on here. Think we're gambling on Boult and Southee having enough left in them to make the most of the movement that's currently available. We really, really need Wagner (and Anderson) to stand up here as support bowlers.

Jesse: "Feel like McCullum is banging his head against a brick wall with the follow on, kinda like he is trying to justify the last match by winning this one."

Tough to win sometimes with the Cricinfo crowd.

Yeah, Bracewell's been quite poor over the last year. He needs to get a whole bunch of domestic wickets then he gets a look in.
