Lol Boult. Has an excellent eye when he's trying to smack it. And the intelligence to work out a method to score a fifty on a low slow Bangladeshi wicket too. Amusing because his batting in any other circumstances (e.g. defending) is really pretty rubbish.

Won't get to bowl any overs if we lose the last wicket now, so should try to bat to lunch and then get the Windies out in the field again afterwards.

Boult must be getting pretty close to being as good a batsman as Southee now.
Not sure if everyone is aware but Trent was the batsman of the tournament at a National Club Champs a couple of years ago. Scored 378 runs at a strike rate of 130, with two hundreds. Admittedly most players in that tournament are drunk from Wednesday onwards, but the kid can bat.

This is painful to watch!!..honestly if we had to suffer this feeble attack long term i think i'd have to step away from WI cricket!!..i couldn't handle watching this utter tripe series after series!!..thankfully the top guns will be back next year and we won't have to see these pathetic bunch of jokers in a WI shirt EVER again!!..it's three first innings in a row now where they've allowed 400 plus runs!!..but of course dipstick Gibson and his merry men just KEEP on giving them opportunity after opportunity!!..i hope he p/sses off after this series aswell :mad2: .

catches have been the main issue imo. the bowlers have created chances, but so far they've dropped about 160 runs, or whatever 129 plus Boult's current score is.

I always considered him a genuine rabbit. Must just be adjusting to the extra pace, hes probably been working very hard in the nets
